⌛ hello all, im new here hope you can help me how to use the site

hello all,

all of us 5 siblings are sillimanian and so with my father and we love the place although we all stay in the dormitories before but we find dgte a really nice place to live in ....
i want to ask is somebody could assist me on some properties that is not so expensive.. we are planning to relocate to dumaguete from Mindanao...But me n may sister is here abroad so its difficult for us to find one...
i tried to visit the website of island ..... but its so expensive...
hope somebody could assist me....

Hi Kristine,
Its very difficult to look for a property via the internet. I would suggest that you first zero in on the location/town you want to be and spend some time "pounding the pavement" asking town folks if there is a property for sale in the area. We found ours by asking the barangay capitan. Word of caution, be very careful with Land Title. Make sure you are dealing with the owner and not just one of the owners.

Maybe you can also check Silliman Heights. I have friends who bought houses in there and are happy of what they have. Last time I was there, they still have vacant lots.

Are you a Rhoan? Most of the Ampongs I know are.

We are happy that you join the board. Yeah properties in and close to Dumaguete are expensive. way tooooo expensive. but all the landlord will find a rich foreigner to pay that over-price... north of Dumaguete (direction Amlan) land is still ok but hurry before the prices going up... and it will not take long...

hello there thanks for the message, yup i know its really difficult, we prefer near SU, yup you are right its difficult bt me n my sis is here abroad and my parents is still in mindanao and find it difficult to go there, so i really dnt know how to start.. anyway i will try to visit silliman Heights though maybe it will of great help..
two of my sis, my bro and father is Rhoans...im not but i know some during my years in Su as i am with the SUSG CSO... r u rhoan? they are angela n aura and aulmer my brother

i just to ask if you happen to know ISRAEL "EARL" AMPONG, SU grad also, he's football varsity of US. we got several AMPONG's in out place near Silliman.

if your looking for a place near SU, then SU heights might not be the one, its above 3KMs plus from SU passing V. aldecoa street.
