Well JP, if he loves CDO, then I like him already.
Maybe he is one of the gentlemen that I have met in KetKai mall and asked to join us here.

:D Well Ron, I guess it all depends on what was in the other post as to whether he is Gentleman:rolleyes:
Nice to think you may have someone there to have an SMB with now and then. No doubt Ilovecdo will enlighten us as to your meeting or not in due course.

    JP, only Rhoody knows.....
I usually meet someone new (foreigner) maybe every other time we go there. I don't know why, but most are from the UK (????).
As always, the conversation starts with "how long have you been here?". Most add "are you married to a lady from here?", usually because I stand by myself while Mae-Mae shops. But these are normal questions I guess for all of us.
And everyone that I have met so far have been really nice guys.
But I always invite them to join this site.

    Cliques!

:( You know Ron, on many occasions we hear on DI, that Dgte has a Disorientated Foreigner contingent. Do you find that in CDO the foreigners actually blend and bond, I have over the last 2/3 years spoken to quite a few, that will pass another in the street without so much as a wink or a nod. Only last night on our walk along the boulevard, apart from my norwegian friend walking his dog, we passed a good 1/2 dozen and we, as always, try and say hello, to no avail, apart from 3 middle aged business types here on some convention, the question of course was no surprise, "Where can we find girls?" if you have not been here in DGTE (can't Honestly remember if you had said yes or no sorry Ron) Rizal Boulevard is a haven for those that like to source a good Time. Anyway, Azon just said, try any of the bars, her frown was not good so we carried on walking. I for one would be interested in how things are there in CDO. Not that we are even contemplating a move but it might help us to understand why our foreigners here are not Gelling as they do in other cities. Already to-day we have heard of the morning McD Brigade and the Evening Brigade at WN, then there is the CCA gang and so on.

Sorry if I have digressed here folks but it was just a thought in my mind:o:o

JP, that is an interesting question with an interesting answer. There are two types of foreigner men at the mall and I've been here long enough to see and tell the difference. There are 3 men that hang together at the coffe shop in the concourse of the mall. They are around 50-60 and they are constantly trying to pick up girls. They have been there every time I've been there. And, they don't/won't talk to any foreigner with a lady at his side. Even the clerks know them and why they are there.
Then there is the married/engaged men with a lady and they (we) all speak, or nod, or something and are very friendly.
The lastest was a man from the UK that came up to me. While I was outside smoking and he lit a cigarette and we started talking. As was I, he was waiting for his wife to shop. After a few minutes, his wife walked up and was a charming lady from phils. The 3 of us chatted for a few minutes then I had to go find Mae-Mae.
So there are those two distinct types here. But the ones in a serious relatioship have all been polite and friendly to me and they always greet another foreigner. It's really nice here.
