Here are a few that we considered when we named our male husky (we went with Reacher); Axel, Brutus, Dexter, Hunter.

I read somewhere that dogs respond better to a 2 syllable name...not sure how true that is.

Do you know how some Filipino guys call a lost dog by name? "caldereta" or "paklay"
I know...not funny :speechless: I just got home from happy hour so please forgive me.

Not sure how to start this post, lots of good suggestions I think we will go with the suggested name Jack (named after Jack P) joke! On a somber note my best buddy Bruno was bit by an infected tick over 2 months ago, after a long battle and one hell of a hard fight he just expired an hour ago. I knew it was coming and a good friend had Oso/Jack and didn't have the right place for him and had no choice but to tie him to a tree. So he gave the dog a better home. I watched him playing with Shadow (Bruno"s son with a black lab mother). Having a few drinks so I hope this makes sense.

Based on your forum name/handle I would suggest the name Tron. Just my opinion.
