Helpers and their problems!

As the saying goes, " We all God's Children' and " All God's Children Got Problems" But and don't you just love the but's
Why? oh Why? do our helpers children feel the need to phone (their Mother) during my families Meal times. and usually give her grief, usually borrow borrow or can you talk to the the Kids. while I cook.
I see Little of my Wife during the Week due to her busy life, so when she is at Home we always have a family Meal around 7/7.30 in the Evening but recently it is getting to the Stage where we just can't hold a family conversation with out the phone ringing and many times it is put onto loudspeaker. The last thing I need or I would think anyone needs is family problems that are not mine/ours overtaking a Family meal. Just lately it has been at 6.30 in the Morning at breakfast too. As I write this I have just told my maid. No more. Please sort your family problems in your time not in mine.
You have job here to do and there are 3 times a day when it is important you are doing that Particular job and not on the Phone.
Am I being unreasonable? or can I take it I should be able to live my life without the sometimes constant interruptions from those that live as the family but seem to forget where they are & why they are here?

This has been going on some 3 months now but today came to a head when Azon got annoyed because she (the maid) burnt the fish. Now she can see what I have been saying has been happening.
I blame Azon for a lot of this as she tends to make workers friends and not help.

Anyone else get this?
