⌛ Here at last

Hi all and wow after reading about 2 years and getting to know the place on the internet we are now here in Dumaguete. it seems like a dream after reading this forum everyday and now its for real. Great to be here arrived on the bus from Cebu, what a good easy journey that was, nice to see places i never been here before. Well first impressions are good, shame about the weather i guess we wont need sun lotion.We did not book hotel coz i thought everyone will go home after the holidays, how wrong i was all double hotel rooms all fully booked, anyhow we managed to get a twin bed room here on the sea front so its ok for now. We made our first steps on the boulevard today, no sea washing over like last night. So now we have some time to fine an area where we can look forward to living here hopefully later this year. So belated happy new year to all and we do hope to meet some friendly people whilst we are here. You cant miss us, look for an english guy pushing his wife around pls come up and say hello.

Hi bobbyjo, Welcome to paradise () well as near as you will get, You don't say if your Wife is English or Pinoy but we will certainly keep and eye out for you, if the move is permanent, have Good Life and enjoy your Retirement (excuse me if I sound presumptuous here)

Good morning. Still no sun oh well,lets goto the shops. Thanks for the welcome Jack and Flo. Yes my wife is pinoy but not from this area so its all so new for both of us. Went to valencia for a look around, i like it up there with some very nice houses. We are looking to retire here Jack. Just have a week or so to look around. Ok we up late today so now we try find the mall.
