HI I'm paul from the UK.I'm married to a filipino from the Mindanao.I intend to visit Dumagatuete feb/march 08.
Can anyone tell me where the expat bars are in dumaguete?Also Karoke bars?

HELLO Enigma and welcome on board. May I know where your wife in Mindanao from? I'm from Dipolog City and currently in Newcastle, England.

Been in Dumaguete May this year and I know you will love it there. There's a string of bars and restaurants in the boulevard owned mostly by expats.

hello, Enigma welcome to our hometown, Im sure you'll appreciate the place in dumaguete, there are plenty beautifull sites to explore in this province. Try to attend to our local market in malatapay,Siaton every wednesday (please inquire the day, because its already long time ago I've been there) and also the Apo Island located in Zambuanguita, im sure you'll love the place. And Silliman beach is quite unique, and the rest you have to discover by your self

I have been to Dumaguete before but only for a couple of days.This time I shall be using it as a base to explore other parts of the island.

Oh, it's great news enigma having a wife from the same city. I might know her. I live in Mibang just a few minutes walk to Medical Center. My brother displays used cars for sale and machine repair shop, you won't miss it.

The same story, we always spent our holidays back home in Dipolog City but on New Year 2006 spending a few days in Bohol and spent 2 nights in South Sea Hotel, Dumaguete City on way back to Dipolog, we found our place and ended up buying it. Well, you will surely love the place. And you might end up retiring in Duma like us. Have time to explore and discover the place. It's a great little city.
