Being a student leader gives you a good step in enriching your skills as a leader but in return you have to sacrifice every consequences that might encounter along the way. As it says that "A great power comes with a great responsibility" isn't it right.
In the present situation in our nation and more specifically in the entire world we are suffering different environmental problems like for instance climate change,destroy of our forest,green house effect and many others. In these problems as a young student leader, we should not be deaf and blind on what is happening because if it will not taken some actions, in return it will fight us back. So, as a catalyst of this nation we should initiate change because little by little we can able to get back the paradise we aim in our future generation.

About climate change i suggest to completely banned Smoking in Dumaguete, hehehe

 

Yeah!!!it's a good idea, just like one of the cities in the US but I don't think so if the dumagueteños were going to approve with this policy.,Let's see.!!!

 

Its very obvious smokers and ciggar sellers will oppose to these,,but if smokers have the right to smoke, then we none smokers also have the right to inhale a clean air that is why, some cities in the US and Europe have total banned for smoking.And its not just bec of these carbon emission thing, its about health, Year 2007 according to WHO, more than 80% of the 8.3 million deaths attributed to tobacco just bec. of these demn smoking.:D

 

Yeah I agree... only Shirts, Shorts, Mini-Skirts and T-Backs.... no need for wearing a Smocking in Dumaguete:D

Exactly!!!your right so, as a catalysts of this nation as early as now we must initiate things that would reduce the rapid occurrence of problems especially in preserving our environment. In matters like this, we must do it first by our own and to the people in order for them to become aware on what is happening now. Would you agree?
For years, people have remained in the same mindset while their surroundings are changing. The 21st century needs to be the Century of Change. Make your existence be a catalyst of this change in your everyday life and help to convince others to do so as well. Separately we can do nothing, but together we can do so much.
