    welcome to DI,

to ask for help without any info about your qualifications and skills is always slightly off, don't you think so ?

Why don't you just tell a little bit more about your skills and yourself ?

    Good afternoon guys...

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in English and I am currently working in Language Center (Korean Academy) for more than 2 years. My first job was being a service crew in a pizza restaurant(Shakey's Pizza Restaurant). I like reading books and writing.

I want to be a tour guide in Dumaguete. If you know any agency that is looking for a tour guide, I am available.

Sir thank you for your suggestion. I do really appreciate it.

    Thank you
    Have a blessed day!

Jennefer, thanks a lot. that gives a much better picture of you and your skills.
not sure if that many tour-guides in Dumaguete are needed, there also are some courses for that right at the moment at Sidlakan, but I highly doubt that there is that much to know about Dumaguete what really interested people did not check out online already.

As a writer with good english skills are many options to earn the daily rice. I know some freelancer earning 25-30 k a month just with writing.

anyway, good luck for your search

    cheers
    Rhoody

Not sure about the pay but several of the local newspapers....i.e. Metro or Negros Chronicle...... are looking for writers with a good command of English

yes, but newspaper writers get measly pay (unless it's a national daily). i used to work for newspapers. it was a nice exposure but the pay was forgettable.

@jennefer, online writing gigs pay better. why don't u sign up for www.odesk.com? membership is free and there are different types of online jobs available there -- data entry, web design, content writing, customer service, etc.

    good luck

Why not just open your own English school for Koreans etc? I doubt it'd have to be accredited; just teach them conversational English. Or something more in depth.

You can rent a function room at Bethel or some other hotel to do it in.

What year did you work in Shakeys?

I think I'd forget the tour guide idea. It seems to be everyone's idea of something easy to do.
