High school teacher nabbed for selling shabu

Both of my parents are teachers. There are a lot of student's parents that believe teachers are "picking" on their child when they are given bad grades. I wouldn't put it past a lot of people to make false accusations to try to get even. It isn't "moral outrage", it is common sense. What is moral outrage is asking for people to be punished based off of unverified rumors because you are scared of the rumors. You don't punish people based off of unverified accusations. What if someone made an accusation about you or your children and then demanded they be denied a job due to those rumors? Would you be ok with that?

The teacher in the OP was arrested and will have her day in court. If found guilty she should receive the same punishment that everyone else does. If convicted she will likely never work as a teacher (or in any other government position) again.

Side note: People want to act like teaching is some glorified job that should be held to higher moral standards....yet they pay teachers jack sh*t, force them to buy their own classroom supplies and give them horrible benefits. Not exactly the easiest position to fill with the highest qualified/motivated candidates.

 

Being turned down jobs because of unproven allegations is a punishment. Does it sound like I'm mad....bro?
