    Not in my Life time No and certainly not in my 27 years in Uniform, if anything it was a Pleasing sight to see any Service man (or Woman in) Uniform on the Street or anywhere. The UK has always been a Traditionalist Country for Uniform This happened in Southern England in an area that is so very Close to Dover where immigrants Start the haul to other Places. In Wales and Scotland the Hospital would have had the Provost Marshal there, shouting the Odds.
    Nah England again getting the kicks while laying Down, Time to get up and show some of that grit they keep on about or maybe they have sold it to Distribute on the roads of Misfortune or whatever.

    (Assuming that Muslims would be one of the few "cultures" in the UK that would have a problem seeing military personnel. Are there any other cultures that would have a problem with military personnel in the UK?)

    We have to tow the line here when it comes to politics if not we will be deported or maybe worse. Yes we all like to have a moan about some of the problems but we don't do it out in public for everyone to hear.
    I wonder how many other countries would ask military personnel to move so you cannot be seen or asked to leave? It would never happen here.
