    YES! But your post was informative - not funny. To date the icons you received for it contain no 'funny' - if it was earth-shattering funny then it would have some, I think.

    Informative? Got a few likes and agree, most got the sarcasm, or have also experienced the same thing and can relate. It was by no means meant to be informative.

    Remember Cool Hand Luke, the Warden said to Luke, "What we have here is a failure to communicate." Add the southern twang/drawl, it is funny.

    Really Mr Finn - you deal with situations like this by giving 'trollins'??? IF I was a child I would do the same (and in your case, I could have to date given you many).

    Three things that stop me responding to you in a similar way:

    1. There are so many very nice people on this Forum that I can afford to ignore you. I prefer to spend my time corresponding with them.
    2. I am an adult.
    3. I don't like wasting time.

    My final reply to you on this or any other subject.

    Vitamins and even medicines come from food----vitamin C, A, E etc. I wonder why you discredit food as the better option when it comes to treating certain illnesses as they boost our body's immune system. Antiobiotics are not supposed to be used for the long term, I know that & as a mother I do not pretend to be a doctor but knowledge about health is not the exclusive domain of those who finished medicine. Yes, viral fever does not respond to antibiotics, that's a known fact. It is only when the fever continues after 3 days that a prescription for antibiotics is considered. A fever that goes away after 3 days is just viral so there is no need of any medicine but you will be advised to take plenty of fluids or liquids and NUTRITIOUS FOODS. You have misunderstood much of what I said.

    My use of LOL---why what's wrong with that? I use LOL a lot---it's part of my nature. I do not see any problem there.

    I wouldn't take it too personally. Notnyrealname has a great deal of knowledge of course. But on the other hand we are retired and don't "sit a the big desk" anymore.. Meaning we should be able to take a more relaxed view and sometimes let something pass.
