Pato, my thoughts exactly, we must have been separated at birth My suggestion would be for all to turn off their richter scales. It could get a little "bumpy" in the vicinity. O-xI
Having seen some of the hard work and attention to detail that Shawn & Cherry have put into their new home, I have no doubt as to the integrity of the home. Personally I'd be more concerned as to my ability to see if my "steel" holds up during such a good reason to celebrate. O-xI
Well some fellow members would consider it off-topic O-| As for me, if i had to start a new thread each time I had a lucid thought, I'd forget it before I Hit Start New Thread, jus sayin
Tuesday pics Thanks everyone for all the comments. It is such a good feeling for me to see the vision coming together and finally getting to stay there. Like I said, some more work to do so it is a bit like camping as cooking goes (actually plan to BBQ most nights). We headed to Dumaguete fairly early today but still didn't get back until almost 4. First thing I got was the workers telling me we have no water getting down to the fixtures. I was a bit pissed thinking about finding where the first tee is and how much roof slab we will have to bust up (I never want to think about taking out anything structural). After about 10 minutes of stewing I went upstairs to see what was going on. They had made some temporary connections, the inlet is 1" and outlet is 3/4", so all the extra 3/4" pipe was coiled up with a bit of it being almost as high as the top of the tank. I had them cut out the extra pipe, make a decent bend where it goes down the column, and wow...I have water in the house. The water pressure is not exactly as I had expected, but it is better than any pressure we've had at any place we have rented. I will take a shower tonight for the first time in 3 months where water actually comes out of a shower head instead of a trickle into a basin. Like I've said before, going with a well and not using city water was one of the best decisions I've made on the house build. I need to get going on the kitchen counters/cabinets as that is really the big thing right now; we'll get the wood to a shop to get everything cut to a better size that I can work with. I can also start the rough in for the electrical on the second floor, not much so won't take too long. Shawn
