I actually told Cherry she would be sent there if she gets me mad and she just gave a look like "whatever"...

She did help me build, and had fun with it.

Not too much work this past week, due to weather and me being out of the country.

Am really excited that our Belgian will have her pups in the next day or so. I've read that Dalmatians have the stronger gene so we are curious to see how the pups look.

Jack...cool pics. Was actually thinking she would have had her pups last night, both me and the wife thought she was having contractions. These are the first dogs I've ever had so going off of what I read and what Cherry thinks; really excited as both our dogs are sweethearts so thinking the pups will be the same. We are really curious on how they will look, have not found any pics of how the pups could look with this cross.

7 pups so far and she has at least 2 more to go (from me feeling her belly...as if that means anything). She started hours ago and it has been 1, an hour, 2 and 3 right away, tons of time for the others and am still waiting on the last few. Pretty cool and we are right there with her.

I've never heard the term "pupgars" so I will assume you mean puppies. We will have to do something later since she had 9 pups. Everything I read said that the first litter would be small so we were expecting 4-6 tops. I guess I will have to wait to find out what they are going to look like; I watched some videos of Belgians and they are born black and then turn to the fawn color over time. They came out black but some have white on the belly or paws. Dalmatians are born white so I am guessing the Belgian genes may be stronger. Either way it will be interesting to see.

I watched some additional videos and looking at pics so they are not always born black, some are a dark brown. Cherry did say that the mother of Chili was very dark, from what I've read and looking at this breed in service there are a few different colorations of the Belgian Malinois, so still the curiosity of how they will end up looking.

We are both so impressed with how attentive a mother she has been, less that 24 hours but she has not left them. I kept the our Dalmatian (father) outside while she was giving birth last night/this morning and when we let him in he was curious, one look and a snarl from our girl and he has spent time either outside or around the kids rooms, he has not ventured closer.

I told the kids to leave the pups alone until they are older but Chili is cool with me and Cherry handling them.
