How and why did you end up here in the Philippines

Is there anybody who ended up staying here that didn't have a woman involved in your decision? I think the Philippines greatest asset captures most of us.

 

What do you consider a woman?

Not that any had an involvement in my decision to stay here, but how do you classify "Lady boys" in relationship to you question?:(

 

Well that would be me, I came her for scuba divingm made my instructor and stayed. Took over a year for the first physical female local species interaction.

In that year I saw 99% of all mistakes the "3-weeks here-found the-love-of-live" guys can make and promised myself not being that stupid.

It still cracks me up seeing adult males acting like total idiots. Now that I am a more public person I just can't laugh so loud about most of them anymore, which does not change my opinion though.

 

When I came here, i didn't know any females. Took me 4 years of extensive research :-)

 

Probative research?

 

My first cvisit to Phils was in 1966 during my services in Marines, did not come back till after my 2d divorce many years later (2001), same story as many met a girl online and yada yada yada. I really liked it here and was planning on retiring, so I started reseaching and decided I could live here much better than in the US on retirment. Moved to Cebu first 2 years ago, lived there 14 months, a friend told me I should visit Dumaguete and I loved it here, moved here 3 weeks after my first visit. Been here now 7 months or so and it is the best I have found for my life style. . . . . . . HAPPINESS IS IN YOUR HEART NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE !!!!!!!

 

"RManuel" thanks for your piece, I like your attitude and welcome you to Dumaguete City, it has certainly changed a lot over the last 10 years but it is still a good place to live.... And the other guys that poke their noses trough the door gap and try to get some slippery responses from the audience, let's hear your stories first before asking questions....

I certainly have a outstanding lady, way better than I deserve,

.. but generally I do not believe in luck,
I believe in being prepared as good as possible, no matter for which situation. I am 110% convinced, ff someone studies or educates him/herself and walks with open eyes and mind through life, things will fall in place. I never needed luck in any exam at school. If I studied, I passed if not my scores were bad or I failed it.

I am convinced that "studying" local and foreign behavior for over a year "live and in color" lead Rechel and me together. Almost for the same time she had the chance to study me in everyday life without being a couple, so she knew she would not get a good boy and would never make one out of him.
