    Hello,

now the border are open. But I can't image how it works now. If there are some tourists, how they can visit Negros Oriental, Siquijor, Cebu and Negros Occidental? It's hard to find all the requirements for every Island.

For example Negros Oriental (don't know how old that information is):
    1) Original vaccination card (some card from another country?)
    2) Original vaccination certificate issued by local vaccination center or DICT (the tourists have to apply for it?)
    3) original Government Issued ID (maybe the passport)
    4) Photocopies of all (ok, that's possible)

After few days you want to go Negr. Occ., you need also that S-PASS? A Covid-Test? After all you want to go to other islands and search again through some old articles, never-ending scrolling facebook sites etc. and hoping that all is correct what you find. Maybe another new Test?

Or maybe I misunderstood something? Maybe there is a central site with all information or the rules are overall the same now but I couldn't find it.

    Thanks and regards

Things will change always and over-all more is opening up. By Dec. 2022 things will almost be back to norm. Masks should be the only requirement. Hope that (inside) more (secretive) information becomes a reality!

Hopefully will be change because in my opinion it is too chaotic and not so easy to find some information. For a tourist its more complicated. In additional to that every province has some own rules and you have to find it somewhere. Also if someone stays here 3 weeks and wants to go to different islands, how many PCR-Tests that guy needs? Now the border are open I am still waiting for the changes.

    From recent experience (this month):

going between cebu and negros oriental by ferry - may or may not need proof of vaccination. A copy of my EU vaccination certificate was sufficient, if the coast guard was actually checking for it. Last two times nobody asked. Some form of ID (passport always works) should be with you anyways.

    Dumaguete - Siquijor
Need hotel booking confirmation and proof of vaccination. Again, EU vaccination certificate was no problem.

    Siquijor- Dumaguete: nobody asked.

So someone vaccinated flying in to Cebu or Dumaguete could do these places without any problems. That is of course just now and may change anytime …

    Hi Jens, thanks!
They asked you for the PCR-Test when you went from Cebu to Negros? My brother comes in few days and he is already tired from all the paper works and registrations.

Its hard for the tourists, hopefully the rules will be changed soon that every Island has the same requirements.

Nobody asked for anything when I came back from Cebu island yesterday (via the Bato-Tampi ferry). I don’t know about the requirements should your brother want to fly from cebu city to Dumaguete.

Negros Oriental provence currently has no test required.

    That said-
PCR, antigen, or no test requirements are dictated by the LGU.
You can find out if your LGU requires anything and if the answer is "no" then if he is asked where he is going then he simply answers and should be all set.

The airlines questions, from my experiance, is just asking if I have checked with and complied with my destination requireents.
    Of course I answer yes

Just to enter the PH you need a Test, to go to Negros Oriental no more Test, just the VacxCard. Also if you enter from Negros Occidental.
