It took exactly 12 months before the Dealer issued our Plates upon the renewal of the Registration, maybe that is the LTO's way of ensuring the Buyer actually pays/renews their Registration on time...![]()

Did you know Brian that now you can now give notice of a vehicle sale online and you receive a receipt number?. I actual just did it about a month ago.

It really makes me wonder if the politicians who dream up these rediculous laws think the bad guys using bike for killings,holdups etc etc actually have plates and licences/papers?
Mabe a few can drop by negros for a few weeks and leave their rose tinted glasses in manila.-

Australia needs to change many of their stupid Laws, and introduce Laws like the Lemon Laws to cover Car Buyers also, but most likely not in my lifetime, sometimes Governments are much alike regardless of their country of origin... TWATS!

In California the filing of a change of ownership falls on the seller. Your story above is why the burden is placed on the seller and not the buyer.

No bikes have a place for a second plate.
They can't even supply new registration stickers here for bikes atm.
