    And their appears no limit to how this virus is mutating since it first jumped species and established itself.

    That is very true. The Indian variant is much more transmissible than our current variant here, and more virulent. It reaches down a bit in age for hospitalizations, and hospitalizes kids. We aren't ready for that one at all. Aztrazeneca, both shots, gives only a slight advantage so far. We need mRNA vaccines for that one.
