    His post was actually serious and was not a joke. But you failed to understand what his post was all about. His post was about the style of “raggedy a$$ jeans.” This was obvious since he asked about our opinion on the style of the damned “raggedy a$$ jeans.” (Couldn’t stress that enough.) His post wasn’t about his relationship. Read his post in its entirety. When you start throwing words like mistreatment, I’d get offended too.

    Well, I am far from being liberal but I would never want to try to control what a woman wears. You admit she is doing it for style thus any stated concern for looking poor isn’t valid. In the US those style of Jeans purchased at places like Abercrombie & Fitch etc. are actually fairly expensive. What is wrong with Filipinas trying to become white when American women try to become tanned? People should be allowed to dress to project their own image and I think this is really unfair. It is your relationship but you made it our business so I would suggest you love her for what she is “inside” and not interfere with her style outside. You really have no right to treat her this way; she is not your possession.
