which foreigners do you want to supply? americans? australians? europeans? koreans? japanese? you really need a big store to satisfy all different tastes. I guess, many of us chose Dumaguete for living because you nearly get everything here what you like, not every day like in western supermarkets, but all in all; the supply is good here already. all the kinds of sausages I can buy every day (if I want to), bread, cheese, fresh milk, chocolate, wine etc - I find it fantastic, you just need to fill your wallet before you go shopping - I live here with a good mix of filipino and european food and I don't loose weight

I have just seen a earlier post mentioning Branston Pickle. As a Brit living overseas for a long, long time I make a look a like Branston using all locally available ingredients, prunes, green papaya etc. I make one batch a year and give some to family and the rest lasts us the year. Sorry not selling but I am very happy to teach anyone else who is interested.

I would be willing to gather U.S. goods and ship via balikbayan box if anyone is interested. Might take several interested parties to pitch in to cover the shipping expenses to make it worthwhile on that end.

More than a month now and my granddaughter still didn't receive my package sent through EMS (express mail service) for her birthday. ¥¥¥ considered gone:cry:

    *QUOTE:
Faeldon issued the order following claims from consolidators abroad that the additional requirement will only cause delay on the release of ‘balikbayan boxes’, sparking anger from the OFWs worldwide.

I did read elsewhere that it may take up to 6 months or more to release the Boxes on another page, but cannot find that information now, so anything that is perishable may not be a good item to include in future sending.

Did you include a cell phone number on the package they can contact for delivery? I have found since I started including my cell phone as part of the delivery address I have recieved all my mail in a decent amount of time.

Yes, it's compulsory in the PO form. My daughter was told that the airline declined the package due to a tiny battery of a toy magic wand and that they are shipping it by sea. Is it really that long? Originally, it was supposed to reach Duma not longer than 9 days.
