Hi guys,

I would just like to share this very good news and certainly will help a lot of people in case of emergency. Just last week, I had to call the police to report a drunkard harassing every passing vehicles near St. Paul University gate 3. It could have been an easy 911 call instead of googling for the local police station number.

Well, despite that, it has saved a lot of lives... Again, the positive aspect of it is what's more important. And let's all contribute to the improvement of the system whenever we can.

The same in Queensland Australia, around 15 years ago, I called the Emergency 000 number when my neighbour choked and died on her lounge room floor in front of us. I connected to a Call Centre 1600km's away in Victoria and during the 10 minutes I was online with an operator I tried to tell her our location as I could hear sirens in the distance that sounded like they were lost. I was shocked when I was informed they were at the other end of the country and she apologised as she had no idea where I was so could not direct the Ambulance to our location any quicker! The lady died after 10 minutes without oxygen, there was nothing that the Ambulance personnel could do for her...
