⌛ Info on dining and nightlife for february urgent

I wish I had more time as I planned to sort a list myself using all the info on the forum but I ended up overloaded at work before leaving and unable to dedicate time.

I'll be in duma arriving from bohol 4th feb, will stay nicaor, will dive with Mike probably 5-8th mostly apo, and leave 10th.

Can you people give me a short list of place to eat nicely for the evening and where to have a drink.

Mainly want to mix with the people and enviroment, I'm easy don't need anything touristic.

If you can give me some info by tomorrow i'll be extremly gratefull.

I'll try to go online in the next weeks but not sure what I'll be able to do, If anywant is around and want to meet for a drink or a dive let me know, I'll already try to partecipate to the meeting at Mikes place 7th feb.

In that thread lots of people list their favorite places to eat.

As for nightlife, that's a tough one as there is just enough of that here for different types of people and for some it's totally lacking. Some places are mainly expat hangouts and others are mainly locals. I could list some of the places I go, but they may not be the same types of places you like to go.

An overall good place to eat, chill out and possibly listen to some live music (a little of everything you mentioned) is Hayahay. You might as well check out Whynot if for no other reason than to just know what people are talking about when they mention it. There are also a lot of other decent places to eat on the boulevard. There are some new places to eat in Robinson's, I would check that place out just to see a nice building in Dumaguete. :D

Thanks rhoody for the advices I'll try to check again later on when in Philippines any update on this post and on the one related to the 7th feb meeting, as I'm already supposed to be diving apo with Mike that day I'll be happy if we can be all together.

Well Dude, if you were right then there is not much of a nightlife in Dumaguete since I'm not often there.
Too bad for the bars/nightclubs/disco's/............
But I did NOT say here that I DON'T like nightlife :D
As Rhoody already revealed on this forum, I have to be home before dark otherwise my honneponney will make my life terrible
