We enrolled our son in school last week and was told to come back on Monday, the 18th for books and uniforms. We were able to get the books but they did not have uniforms, so pushed off to buy fabric and a local tailor to make the uniforms.

What is interesting is that the lady the wife knows that can do the uniforms has an old Singer sewing machine. I was really interested in the machine and to find out this one was first used by her grandmother, then her mother and now her. I'm guessing she is in her late 50's and she said the sewing machine is 100 years old.

It is her business and I find it remarkable she has had the Singer going all this time. The wife knows I want this antique badly but she does not think the lady will part with it. It needs a bit of work but is something in the US that would get folks excited.

I'll get some pictures of it next time to send to my Mother as she would freak out to see it.

I can Imagine Shawn and ask Would you?:jawdrop: Funnily enough our Seamstress has one about 50 years old, a youngster by far but proves the point the Singer was a Good one!
