    I think a lawsuit would be a non-starter if the person storing had already signed a contract saying the stored items became your property when the storage fee was more than 30 days past due. Considering the average age of expats and the time it would take to get through a court, it would be their estate suing your estate before it was over. I'm pretty sure the laws would be different and in this case a signed/witnessed contract would be in existence. It was just a thought anyway.

    Treasures, I would doubt it also but there would probably be some window aircon units, a refrigerator and possibly a motorcycle. I might store some other houshold goods but those would be the main ones. If I were coming back, or at least thought I was, I would hate to have a forced sale bring nothing for them and have to buy all anew if/when I returned
