On another forum I read the same thing happened in a Barangay in Cebu. The thread just stopped, I assume this happened because it was not pushed any further by the barangay, seemed to be a kneejerk reaction to an the incident. The two girls that said they would come back never did (surprise surprise).

I'm curious, was there a recent crime in Valencia committed by a foreigner? Missing child? Rape? Murder? This was the reasoning for the "inventory" in Cebu a couple years ago.

Did they resolve the case of the girl that got killed about a month ago?

No, the DNA "evidence" came back negative. They haven't got a clue who did it.

Maybe they just need a new suspect then ;-)

    There ya go.

Maybe some kid saw a foreigner drive by and look or honk at her as they passed.

This is off topic only because I can't create a topic. Is everyone else seeing this Syria stuff on the activities screen?

Well the barangay officials have just been here also and wanted details of me and any other foreigners I know! All they wanted was name, country, barangay and signature on a basic form. No photo required.
There was a supporting letter from the chief of police stating it was compulsory. The letter originated from Cebu. They also mentioned after I questioned them as to why it was a safety thing but I don't think they really knew themselves.

Well, if it's for safety, I'll feel safer the fewer (including police) who knows details about me.
    So, thanks, but no thanks!
