    I wish they would do that to me in the US. I'd gladly spend 2 years in prison for the millions and millions they'd have to pay out after the lawsuit. Wrongful imprisonment, defamation of character, emotional distress......you would get a couple million for each one of those. I'm sure a good lawyer could land you over 100 million for something like that.

    What happened in Cebu was that they offered a hefty reward for the catch of the perpetrator. The chief of police was to determined to get that reward, and just had top nail someone. That's, just anyone.

    Sounds like a good way to get false witness statements also. Because who wouldn`t be willing to claim, they saw ANYBODY pick up the victim, if they stood to receive a huge financial benefit? Maybe the parents of these young children instructed them to just say "yes", when they are asked, if they could identify the suspects, that had already been arrested by police.

    Thanks "Mod01" it's good to know that somebody is watching over us while we are endangering our self and others with heated comments...
    God only knows how much I would like to clean up this World and make it a better place, it's frustrating to be powerless in the face of so much evil going on...

    Yes, and it appears that now the police in Cebu are looking to nail anyone, that's just anyone, in Bacong or Valencia!

    Depends on the state, I've seen as little as 25k and as much as 1 million per year on certain cases. Off topic though. :wink:

    Pretty strong statement... What are your comments based on, assumptions from an inventory being taken, reading between the lines, insiders info? Sorry, maybe I am the only one but I don't believe that we are the target.
