Just read on UK news of a man who had a successful video call job interview and then downloaded the 'application form' - the form contained malicious code and soon his £18,000 cryptocurrency was stolen.

Then a minute later I read of 3 UK airports that had a ransom attack on their customer database and refused to pay up. Now the personal details of almost 9 million people are being released on the internet for free by the ransomers.

With the battle between AI helping to deal with internet security and criminals using AI to overcome those security measures, who wins? It appears to me it's like any major war - the fighting will rage on, with each side gaining an advantage at times.

So I just wonder if it's safe to use the internet these days and is it near to becoming too dangerous. My laptop is loaded with antivirus but I'm not feeling totally secure.
