Too right PrensBana...Been very happily married for over thirty years. In fact, my wife is nearly two years older than me...LOL.....although she looks at least ten years younger....We met when she applied to be a stewardess with a Middle East airline I was working for at the time. Her application came across my desk and I thought...hmmm....she sounds interesting. Rang her up, visited Bacolod, and after a few trips and almost a year we got married...Happy as a pig in sh*t...Got three kids, all doing outstanding in their careers, US Marine Corps officer, medical scientist, and a financial planner with a premier firm here in Perth....and their mother was the chief motivator. Sad to see the horror stories...but you are dead right...there are literally millions of wonderful Filipinas out there - and a bit of common sense will help you find them.
Sympathy and Empathy Yeah, i got me a good one (from the barunguy but citified a few years before we met), strong character and values, keeps the relatives properly at-bay, good head for business & family, diligent to a fault -- 11 years now, we're doin' great. Plenty good ones are out there among the majority dysfunctional, ya just gotta search carefully. But i meant to say -- sorry for what's happened to you Brian! it sure ain't fair or right, and not your fault. Hope that it get resolved with minimum damage!!
I was talking with a Dutch guy at the gym this morning. He was telling me his horror (wh*re) story. He met a filipina and married her. She left him and took his computer and I guess other stuff and went to the U.S. and got married. Turns out she apparently had all false papers with some else's name. He is trying to get her for bigamy, he said he thinks he found out her real name. He said it would cost him 80,000p for an annulment. Another 'buyer beware" story.
P80,000 thats cheap I heard it normaly costs P150,000 and about the minimum of 3 years, that same thing happened to an Australian guy i met here in Bacolod he is here and she is in Australia, same mo fake names and papers, but he said here visa will run out so the will deport here.
She has a better chance of being hit by a flying bus, than being deported if the Oz immigration is backlogged like ICE(Immigration Customs Enforcement)in the U.S.
look at this guys ACT 5 http://www.bwsc.dole.gov.ph/bwscweb/files/RA 9262 Anti-violence against women act.pdf this is what she used against me
now you can see how easy it is to have a guy arrested. on fake charges, if you own a house with your asawa then you to can be a victim
This whole thing needs to be torn up and burned and whoever wrote it needs to be burned at the stake. It is clearly written as a simple way to screw a man out of everything they can without just cause. A woman can claim any of these things even if you have had sex only once and doesn't need a lick of proof but just a lawyer willing to file and the lawyer only needs to know he will get paid.
Maybe there should be a act "anti violence and abuse against men" available? Surely there is a loophole for us men somewhere..... Perhaps Brian when you sell the place and resolve YOUR currrent situation, she may receive some entitlements, but she does not look wise enough to handle her own personal and financial affairs well enough that she will find it hard and struggle for years to come. The alternative is that the next guy she meets may not be as kind as you and will be the opposite and gets what she deserves in the form of karma.... Good luck. It's Aussie day now so see if you can down a schooner or two. I'm going to watch a Ute convoy or maybe join them to celebrate..cheers!
