Hi everyone, just stopped here to say hi and looking forward to visiting Dumaguete soon. Thats why I am here, coz my financee is going to be taking nursing at Silliman, so I am just wanting to know all I can about this wonderful city.

I'm a Newcomer

I'm a newcomer to you general chat forum; howerer, that does not mean I'm a newcomer to life. That happened at 5 PM July l3. 1932. I have been searching for a place to retire where I can affor it. Here I come Dumaguete! Your posts seem to be sensible and I will appreciate all the information I can garner from you so that my transition will be sensible and as smooth as possible. There is a lot of preparation. When the change of location happens, it will be when the certainty is there that all the bases have been covered. Your postings wil be read closely. Hi Moise, welcome to the forum. Take your time chatting with the members, in doing so you can get a lot of info of things in general about Dumaguete. Making Dumaguete as your new residence perhaps, is a big jump from where you come from, and your adjustment to a new place is an important aspect. You want to ask especially the Dumagueteneos or maybe some expats who have been living in Dumaguete for quite sometime, and knowledgeable about the city. And I must say, you came to the right place.
