The tragic news yesterday of a 15 yr old schoolgirl travelling on a bus to school was a shocking example of knife crime, it would appear the young man 17 yrs old, when his advances were rejected, chose to stab the young lady. It was a wound to her neck which was fatal.
According to figures released this is the 15th teenage victim to knife crime so far this year in UK.
With my teenage grandson still at school I fear for his safety, since the start of the September term, there has already been an incident at the school he attends prompting him to say to his Mother, I dont want my younger brothers to ever go to that school!
I'm at a loss as why in Western Society with so many privileges, we have a young generation of so many delinquents prepared to carry and use a weapon to harm others. Very often the innocent victims being the more decent members of society.
    Deeply saddened once again.....JB

Very tragic. What is going on in Europe ?

    https://www.dw.com/en/german-police-arrest-teen-over-6-year-olds-killing/a-66927356

And this already the second case in Germany. Recently a 14 old boy shot a 6 year old one.

The Me Me Me Generation, by the most part, lazy, wants it all, World owes them a living, demands respect when none is earned, wants the newest of gadgets, games, coolest of Cars and heaps of cash with out having employ. Cell phone junkie, wanna-be social media starlets needing to be the coolest dude or chick. Funniest or saddest part of it all is most will never achieve squat and would sooner opt in to suicide over dealing with the needs of growing old or planning a retirement. Living for the moment is just not wise but many cannot leave that narrow mind set. It's all about Me, and I want it now, or I just may take it!!!!

It's up to the authorities, police, judges in Germany and UK to arrest and condemn this guys with the full power that is provided by law. Regardless of their age and nationality.

And this is exactly not gonna happen. If someone killing a person he got provided with a lawyer and another lawyer and a translator and a psychologist and whatsoever.
Instead of putting him behind bars right away.

Writing this I really get annoyed and pissed off. Its a shame for Europe not beeing able to respond to criminals in a proper and effective way.

We totally gave out of hand that certain people are respecting the law. But, why should they ? Nothing is gonna be if they don't.

The deaths of numerous young people in Europe is the result of our weak, incompetent and corrupt politicians.

When we have a complete breakdown of Law and Order, ( when the Police and Justice system totally breaks down, which is not far away in my opinion )
the Criminal element's will take over and nowhere will be safe to walk.
Whether through need or greed here in UK, the amount of blatant robbing in shops is already taking place in certain Towns and Cities, with concerns for Staff and Customers safety, being too frightened to intervene for fear of harm.
TV coverage of this is sending a clear message to Criminal's that Policing in UK is breaking down.

I remember years ago watching a movie called the Purge and at the time thought it was a great movie but pure fantasy, not so sure now.
One thing i am sure of is if the police don't get a grip of what's happening in the UK then people will start to do their own policing and that ends up with vigilantes, lynching, burning at the stake and all that other good stuff, happy daze.......

This is what my grandparents said about my generation.
It's what I thought of melenialls.
And what about the youth that grew up in the "hippi" era or when rock and roll was the devil's music?
Before that was when WWII ended and the American society turned into consuming and buying now mentality.
We need to be careful when we point fingers and judge others.
Remember, when you point 1 finger at someone, there are 4 fingers pointing back at you.

This post started with a 15 yr old cimmitting a crime, why is the blame on law enforcement when they would not have had information to prevent the crime?
It's like blaming teachers for a child not learning.
Where is the parental guidance and involvement?
Are parents to busy working to buy themselves or the kids the newest gadget?
Parents use TV, games, and phones as a babysitter but dont get involved in what really matters.
What about parents that have an active child and seek medication as a sedative instead of getting involved in sports?
I'm not saying a 15 yr old doesn't know right from wrong, they do.
But the idea of "what can I get away with" starts at home, not the police station or classroom.
And, if you want an example of patents not doing there job, see the nes on "affluenca deffence" in Texas about 8 years ago when (I think a 15 year old boy) killed people driving the truck his parents bought him. This is after a party at "his" house.
Now, I would not have had any remorse if the kid, parents, and the judge of this case were all hog tied to a tree in Copperhead canyon for a night.
I do have respect for the attorney that did their job, it just shouldn't have worked.
