 late last night, my daughters ACER laptop Cursor pad Packed up, 2 months old.
Before I go table thumping at the Supplier, Is there likely to be anything we can do at home to correct this.
She is waiting for a supply of fan coolers to come in so it is maybe running hot . I noticed Yesterday that she was on it all day and I was wondering if this has anything to do with it. Desk tops I can sort out the Hardware problems But LT's I know nothing about.

    Any Suggestions?

Hey Jack. I am thinking you have a guarantee. They don't always ship computers off to Manila etc. Some place have their own in house techs. I would definitely approach them before playing around with trying to fix it yourself. I have and Acer that I have only turned off around 10 times in the last year. It hums along nicely. But I use a separate keyboard and mouse.
