    Well we tried all the Suggestions, and in the end it has gone to the Doctors as we now think it is something more than the obvious BUT Thank You all for your Posts on this

    Whoa, I think you just violated a major rule there. Looks like the filters need updated. :wink:

    Maybe turn tethering on for the phone and try to connect to that. If that works, then you can go into network settings -> manage known networks ->forget the connection and then re-enter password when it pops back up.

    Something that get forgotten that many laptops have is a switch to turn WLAN on or off. Quite often it's happening that the switch is turned off by accident. To test that you can use tethering on your cellphone and try to connect to the internet that way. If it is not working then refer to the manual how to turn the WLAN on. Some laptop have a hardware switch while other needs a combination of key strokes to activate it.

    Windows 10 WiFi is quite annoying on my laptop. It is very hit and miss and has problems connecting/disconnecting to WiFi at times. It has gotten better over time with Windows updates but still not as good as Linux, Mac or previous Windows versions.

    Did you try turning off and back on the computer?

    Is it a PC or Mac? Need more info.
