I forgot to mention in my earlier post that the Swiss chap Markus does have dryers on-site and does not rely solely on the sun to dry clothes!

I've seen one of those 'real' laundromats on the street near the Water District Building (if I remember correctly). Is there more than one?
The laundromat "Gentle Bubble Wash" near the Water District is about 100 m or so north of the DCWD, just down from the new company building, forget name. The manager is Benia, phn 0906 205 1090. She also can do it for you. I've learned in Dmgt, "across the street" can be anywhere within half a kilometer.
