When you order something from amazon or anyone, you have it sent to a special account number (like a box number), it is processed and placed in your "cart." Then you "open your cart," choose which items to ship together, add value, chose "air" or "sea," pay, and off it goes. Air usually 2 weeks and 4 times the cost of sea. They are a division of LBC. One warehouse in each of the 4 countries.
Quite a few restrictions, read carefully, value, electronics, no commercial quantities. but the trade off is low cost and FAST. ....
PS: if you screw up the credit card verification (easier every month), just cancel, but note it may take a few minutes for the computers to get your items back into your cart. Don't panic... Patience grasshopper, internet is much slower since the typhoon.

 

Today, New Years Eve Dec 31, I received 2 packages ordered from Shopee and delivered by J&T Express. I have been receiving packages regularly with a little pause immediately after the typhoon.

I was able to place orders shortly after the typhoon and those shipments are making progress past Cebu.

Items being shipped from China now have a notice about the typhoon.

Now on Shopee, I am not able to place an order for items being delivered from China. Simply states shipping option not available. I do not know if I can buy local items now.
