    lechon manok???
    i think i've tried them all and find the chicken(s) to be sweetened and or seasoned with ''something.'' yesterday, i asked a guy, who was roasting on his porch, what he put on his chickens and the 1st thing he listed was *sugar*. has anyone found a place selling plain ól rotisserie roasted chicken that tastes like chicken?

    a red tomato? i was talking with a vender in the market yesterday who had some 90% red tomatoes and i told her i was happy to find them. we got to talking about ripe food and eating fresh produce, she couldn't believe that i don't put vinegar and salt on tomatoes. i'll stop here...

    great carrots!!! you found great carrots!!! if your serious about finding great carrots, i'd love to know where. so far, i've only found great carrots here once and i ate them before they got away.

    seems like we could form a food alert thread on the forum where members could announce findings like great carrots and the like.

    Valencia Farmers Market!

    :smile: CARROTS! Try the Valencia Farmers Market, Turn right at the Gas Station on Jose-Romero-Road, (left if you are coming from valencia) Times vary but Azon usual goes early on, a Saturday morning early 7.30am or Evening on Thursday. (6.30/7.00pm) Check at the Gas Station, they will know. Well worth a visit, masses of parking. There is not a lot they, do not have there. :wink:

    it's not only carrots but farm *fresh* produce in general. is Azon a vender, a farmer, a market or ???
