You mix it up with their food, and let them take all they want. Be patient. The ants you see are all "workers" and will bring back food to the nest, and the queen. The boric acid will eventually kill the queen (along with the workers,) but once the queen dies, the nest dies.

Worth a try. Boric acid is cheap and relatively safe, but it's probably best to set the food out away from where pets and children can get at it.

This morning i went for a mission...terminate those Ants!!O--O I got Borax 85pesos at rejoice hardware, mix 2 cups warm water, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 4 spoons of borax powder. Went to the main site mango tree where the reigning queens are! and poured 1 cup of warm solution, then i sprayed the rest that invaded the walls, fences, and the terraces.

Tomorrow, i will make a thicker solution 1:1 ratio and pour it to the site. I still have to find Malathion Insecticides as my last resort.

I tried that already and had the same result as "onlymichael", they got at it for a few days but then ignored it, I tried quite a few mixes, with fish, egg, sardine oil, grated coconut, etc. nothing really helped...

The "Sulom" are keeping leaf lice, that they "milk" as a provider of sugar but somehow they are not interested in any other kind...
