Surely not, that would be illegal! I know I would never do such a thing and certainly did not flirt with the elderly woman running sari2x stores nor did my gf go out and flirt with those same women's sons to gain access to alcohol during the ban.
They still make that? That's actually quite respectable rum. Haven't seen a bottle of that in years. What did it cost you? I think the last time I bought a bottle it was around 175-220 pesos.
My local sari sari (next door) has been selling me red horse and San Mig Pilsen all through the ban. Today, fist day of the lifting of ban, none left!
I bought several bottles there, but think the price for 15 years Tanduay is around 300 pesos, in my mind the money worth, even I drink it in coke with ice
Stocked up on some wines today and Sophia's is open. Liquor cabinet is once again acceptable. Kentucky bourbon, Crown Royal, Jameson and GlenFiddich. More wine in store along with some Prosecco.
One great thing came out of this liquor ban in the form of inspiration. I am about to open my own wholesale and retail beer warehouse. (no joke) Also this is not a sales plug. If I don't sell even one bottle, guess I have the rest of my life to drink 3 truck loads of beer.
