This is going off-topic to irrelevances.....bring back the booze!!!!! I saw something saying Cebu have lifted booze ban, but not verified as official.
I have not drank alcohol since becoming a follower of Jesus Christ. But when I was drinking liquor as a young man, I would would have been very upset if the government took away my drug of choice. So I understand where you current liquor drinkers are coming from, but I know for me and of other true converts that no one can take away our Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Just returned from LP and they have put the booze back and put the Liquor Ban signage back up, I couldn't buy, the whole reason I drove to town today.
It's the opposite for me. I have not believed in the invisible sky-daddy since becoming a follower of being a drunkard. But when I was talking to myself as a young man, I would have been very upset if the government took away my hallucinations. So I understand where you current dogmatics are coming from, but I know for me and of other true booze lovers that no one can take away our love of getting hammered. Burp, belch & and kickback! I hear where you're coming from. When I discovered that the supermarket wasn't selling liquor today, the first thing I said was "Jesus Christ!"
