some nonessential stores closed
public market opens at 4am.
no mask, no entry.
max 50 customers at a time
main entrance only : hands sprayed and temperature taken.
given a numbered ticket at the entrance, i was number 31 at 9:30am.
most outdoor market area businesses are open

The Golden Goose laid a Balut!
Building owners priced their rent on continuing establishments increasing business by tourists until Covid.
Where are the Chinese, Korean, European and Americans that used to fill our hotels and restaurants and the students staying home by decree.
Free WiFi didn't attract the students to barista coffee. The Essencia hotel was favorite to the Chinese and Korean because they were used to walking everywhere and travelled with their families thinking nothing having to walk up to the Lantau area for an evening meal
Marina was pitched to be investments for those well heeled tourists which is dried up for now.
Downtown and the downtown Boulevard are belt tightening which even Grab and Food Panda can't prolong the suffering and for rent and foreclosures are soon to follow.
Mobile consumers have moved on in their search for food and drink north of Tiki Bar to Silliman Beach with their restomalls closeby to Mooon and Shaka. Vendors that used to be on the right away have moved to a more permanent location on the short section of road that ends at Silliman Beach. The barangay charges them P20 a day.
Tourism will be hard to start over regardless of whether The Smart City progresses or not.
We haven't seen all the opportunities ahead.
