I'm also looking for MIDI usb keyboard. In JVS shop they told me that one is already ordered from Manila and comming soon, but it will be more expensive than buying a second hand one. If you will find some place where you can buy used keyboards, please don't keep it in secret

 

you are talking about piano style key board right?? I have an 88 key keyboard by korg and roland is the other brand to go with...Mine is the expensive kind with USB A and B ports and uses flash card memory as well as USB stick memory..Its MIDI and via USB,shares files with any 2.0 system computer and loads to and from internet... I had to ship from USA cause no sale in philippines,when I shopped in cebu and manila..they carry more roland keyboards in Cebu and Manila but not the most advanced models like mine..I found lesser model roland in manila and cebu very nice ,cost 125,000.oo php where in USA maybe 70,000.oophp at normal retail... Casio is where the quality of the cheap happens but yamaha is in the cheaper market as well as the higher end models with USB and MIDI..I had yamaha N series years ago and roland years ago and kurzweil once before and also before my korg I had alesis and these all do models with MIDI and USB is likely in the later models...Musicians friend .com is the site to go see what the market has to offer and the best USA market rates for hundreds of music gear items..from there compare to what you eventually buy....still not sure if I will sell mine yet...

 

I found a store across from Generic pharmacies on Dr V. Locsin. They had several used keyboards. I test drove a Casio in Cebu and was surprised by the feel of the keyboard as well as the sound. However I still felt the price was high. I think the Vat is the main cause of that.
