I find it humorous that the start of this thread stated looking for a breeding pair but actually wanted a pet and can not kill. But in the rabbits that seem to be available in Dumaguete are they *fancy* aka colored or long haired etc animals or are they more preferable for breeding and food stocks.

Specifically that usually means New Zealand Whites ( the ones with pink eyes ) and from asking in Facebooks forums about rabbits they seemed be be available other cities/locations but not on the island of Negros. At least Ive not gotten any replies to my inquiries. YET.. ( months now ) Breeding age seem to sell for around 4-500 peso each.

 

I know the guy that owns Suarez auto repair has some new zealands. Not sure if he sells them but you could ask .. Go past Hypermart towards Valencia and when you get to the corner with 2 gas stations turn right (only way you can turn) and go about a km or so and he's on the left. There is a sign saying Suarez auto but you have to look for it .. btw his repair prices are very reasonable and he's done good work for me .. His english is very good. Not much personality so be ready for that.
