⌛ Looking for Tax help for U.S. Expat

Normally I do my own taxes but last year was a little more complicated as I tried my hand at daytrading stocks. So I had it done professionally in the states as I was not yet here in the Philippines. I think I paid way to much for my taxes last year. So I would like to find out if there is anyone here who goes to a professional here in the Philippines that deals with helping U.S. foreigners file their taxes. Any info would be great.

 

I decided to use a tax pro in California, glad I did, will receive refund instead of paying, albeit he is not cheap.

 

Day trading is usually a great deal for the brokerages and stockholders but a mess for you at tax times. Good luck on finding someone in the PI who knows what they are doing.

I am a day trader and I use a tax accountant who comes to the PI from the states every year to assist expats here. You will need copies of your trades and and of course any expenses relative to trading that can be used to write off. Talk to him of course.....He is reasonably priced.
