In my earlier militay days I was a "fireman". One of my many jobs was weighing and inspecting all the extinguishers every month. And through-out my brief 4 year active duty carreer other than the dailt search and rescue we fought several fires on ships, barges, and once a whole darn town, we fought from the riverside as a river disected the town.
Any good dry chem is going to have a guage. No need to test at all. If you don not understand A,B &C fires you should learn which is which and how to handle each. The basics are pretty simple right Ron. Learn how to "properly" use a fire extinguiser also.
My favorite was alwats C02 style, you can cool a 6 pack of beer/pop with one in a matter of seconds.
Our CO would always ask me why 2 of the extinguishers in the old deserted living quarters/boat house building seemed to need recahrgeing so often. I told him it's the ghosts over their. We had to walk the old place even at night, I could never get those darn ghosts to talk to me. But a real close friend and shipmate of mine was built like the incredible hulk, a really BIG bad a** boy out of Chicago.
But i always had to do his inpsection for him at that deserted building, he was truly afraid of ghosts. Isn't it funny ? Everyone has something they fear no matter how large or smal or tough they think they are. We all have at least one.
    Have a fantastic day.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................................  Just can't help myself, the Devil makes me do it. lol :p

Good job we had a couple as early this am I heard a loud crackeling noise and realized it was the main power line where it joins the house,it shorted out and was burning. (another bodged job which needs to be fixed). Anyway noreco did come quickly and repair with a joiner and some tape!

Any one any idea about getting fire extinguisher refilled? Had it refilled at matio last time and empty in three months. So went back to get refill and now they have to send it to Cebu and around 4-6 weeks at a cost of nearly php 1200. It doesn't seem worth it when you can buy new in handyman for php 1650!
All it needs is air and the seals checking! There must be someone here who can refill for a reasonable price?
