    I don't know.
Had that also a while ago, I agree it was nice ...BUT small portions, would need 2 dinners to fill me.

I agree, gabbys ribs are great.

also had good ribs at bamboo bobs last saturday, great band too, one you can listen to and also have a consversation without having to scream at the person sitting next to you.

I don't think baby back ribs are a fill you up meal like steak for example as more bone than meat.. . but with a good portion of mashed potato and veggies they did the job for me. I guess big eaters might need a different type of meal.... or order two serves lol :omg:

We visited Lord Byron's the other night. I had the baby back ribs and the cheeseburger, with 2 San Mig lites, all turned out well. :1cheers:

I know you were being light-hearted, but 'gastro' really refers only to the stomach and the shite is made lower down in the large intestine. The stomach churns up food with enzymes and other digestive substances to produce (what, if ejected, is called) vomit!

So it really means 'DAD'S Vomit Park'. Having said that, there are very fancy restaurants in the UK based within pubs and they are called 'gastropubs'! You can even buy high quality fish n' chips there Mr R ().

Called in there last nite as missus is very fond of ribs. Her verdict - excellent sauce, though they want 50 pesos more for extra sauce. The ribs were ok but unfortunately she's been spoiled by eating at Casa Verde in Cebu (both outlets) and they are simply in another league. Shame CV doesn't open an outlet in Dumaguete!!!

Have you suggested it to them? My wife also likes ribs and so tell them you have two customers already lined up.

We went to Lord a few nights ago and had a terrible meal. The ribs were small and mostly all fat. The chicken was not very good. We will not be going back.
