I bought my wife a brand new Yamaha MIO and we were told we would get the plates within 2 months, after 2 months we asked, "Not yet Sir"... So each month following we asked again and again, same reply until the 11th month when one of the staff told us we would receive the Plates "Only when we renewed the Registration"... Sure enough, took it back to them on the 12th month to have a service done, paid to renew the Registration and were then handed new Plates to attach... Like everything here; you just need to "Wait a while"...
We only knew the Yamaha Dealer had the plates because we asked otherwise we would never had known. Maybe yours are waiting for you to go in and ask, god forbid the thought they contact you...
bought a new bike from kymco dealer here...waited 2 1/2 yrs for my plate..so happy to finally have it!went for my next reg and smoke test only to be told.."but sir this plate is not yet registered to your bike!"you are still registered as temp plate!I give up
