    I like the Filipino approach: Deny there was a plane, airport and that China existed so we could just all keep having "more fun in the Philippines."

    I remember the first few probes the US sent to Mars, none of them reached the surface. That Martian air defence is tough. They finally let something land though, I think they took our measure and now are playing with us.:D
