⌛ manila airport

hi folks,
i was told when you arrive at manila airport (international flights) those that are meeting you are not allowed inside. is this true? where would you look to meet them? would appreciate a reply because i shure dont want to wander around like a dumb longnose!

The information you received is correct. They have a designated pick up area to receive arriving passengers. After you come out of the arrival hall on the first floor (after picking up your baggage & passing the custom check), walk out of the building, go across the street ( only cabs and buses are allowed to drive through this street), walk down the stairs to the main parking lot, in front you will see lot's of ppl waiting to see their friends or family coming down the stairs--that's the designated receiving area. This area is also sectioned (eg A, B, C, etc.) so look for signs.
