Its good that its only a "nonworking day" as there are already enough holidays. Hmmm. I notice the headline in the link calls it a "holiday" but I don't see that in the proclamation. It seems that they people are just getting the day off to vote. Perhaps the journalist does not know the difference between a nonworking day (no pay - gotta go vote) and a holiday (with pay - gotta go play).
