I like the bottle idea. But I'd say a plastic zip lock bag would be even better, it's got larger opening & you wouldn't have to work as hard aiming....plus you'd less likely p*ss all over your hand. So all in all, I'd say it's better to have those trike drivers take their p*ss with them than having them spray their stinky urine outside the wall of my window or all over town.
Here is an article from the Daily Star from last week. Maybe the Mayor heard the complaints .... but will they ever get installed? Will they be maintained and will the locals actually use them? If they could educate the people or cause some sort of mindset change, then enforce local bylaws against public urination there would be a chance. Otherwise, just wait for the rainy seasona dn the smell will get washed away: Sagarbarria to prioritize Rizal boulevard extension BY JUANCHO GALLARDE The construction of more state-of-the-art comfort rooms, extension of the Rizal Boulevard, more housing sites and diversion roads are among the priorities of Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria for Dumaguete City in the next three years. He said the boulevard extension, or the Board Walk project, will resume with the P1 million financial assistance from Senator TJ Guingona. He added that the Philippine Ports Authority is expected to continue the project as part of its Port Zone, with a wave deflector, worth P23 million, expected to be constructed to connect the extended boulevard. As to the 20-meter diversion road, Sagarbarria said the city government will allocate funds for payments of road-right-of-way concerns from Isugan in Bacong to Magatas in Sibulan, while an initial P50 million was allotted for land preparation and concreting of the route, particularly in Brgy. Bajumpandan. The construction of the ninth waterless comfort room, worth P700,000, will also start at Rizal Boulevard, in addition to the one at the public market, with three more being eyed at the Quezon Park, including one for use of persons with disabilities, Sagarbarria said. He added that they are also planning to establish an audio visual center for senior citizens, a city library and a museum for artifacts and antiques.*
