    tnx, amigo...

as far as Crystalhead, link to ''All You Need to Know About the Carnivore (All-Meat) Diet."
my post was about seeking ppl who are interested in a *meat based* diet. meat based can include many combinations of meat and plant foods with different names like keto, paleo, low carb, etc but the common ingredient is foods from the animal kingdom.

i skimmed down crystal's page and saw many controversial topics. see summaries below.
one thing that kept jumping out at me was lean meat; most successful meat based eaters focus on fatty meat, usually fatty red meat.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
i'm not sure what rabbits and the life expectancy of butchers in scotland has to do with my post (lol) but my family fished and hunted wild game and rabbit was my favorite; especially the back meat; would that be the rabbit rib eye?.
i also raised free range rabbits, chickens, geese, pigs and beef when i lived off grid in the mountains of ferry county, wa. usa. but rabbit meat, because it's lean, wouldn't be a staple for a meat based diet unless you add animal fat; ever hear of rabbit starvation? the season of the harvest applies to some meats, especially wild meats; wild meat would be fattest in the fall.

--------------- comments on Crystalhead link -------------------------------------------------
    Summary
The carnivore diet excludes all foods except meat, eggs, and small amounts of low-lactose dairy products. Testimonials from those who follow the diet claim that it can help treat several health issues, but no research supports these claims.

iirc, i read that there's no study to support the Standard American Diet Pyramid but shawn baker has posted clips on meat based studies. i was on his channel a few days ago and saw a playlist for studies but his channels looks to be reorganizing and it's wasn't there today but check out his testimonial playlist: https://tinyurl.com/2faqggob

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Summary
Increasing your protein intake and reducing your carb intake may help you lose weight. That said, the extremely high amounts of protein and complete elimination of carbs on the carnivore diet are not necessary to lose weight.

i don't recall any of the influencers recommending increasing protein except for some body building trainers. what is recommended is fatty meats eaten to satiation. ppl are losing meat on low carb, high fat diets and losing weight, reducing meds, reversing comorbidities and more.

    ------------------------- Summary ---------------------------------------
The carnivore diet is high in fat and may contain excessive amounts of sodium. It contains no fiber or beneficial plant compounds and may provide inadequate amounts of certain nutrients.

    what i've seen most on channels is;
    - most influencers recommend fatty red meats
    - salt food to taste is recommended.
    - fiber isn't necessary on a meat based diet
    - most meat based influencers say that animal foods contain all the necessary nutrients unless the feeds and or soils are inadequate. i've seen some nutritional charts comparing an animal based diet with vegetable/grain based diets and the nutrients in animal foods win overall.
of course, who are you going to believe these days?...

    good going jimeve, congratulations...
me, i've been chasing diets since i was 32yo and i've made it to 81 with a no aches or pains and a no meds lifestyle. i recently got into meat based eating for the fun of it and to, hopefully, add some more years to life, wish i had known about it years ago.

how was the rib eye, PatO?
