“PAGASA” changing the Typhoon names that were assigned by the World Meteorological Organization…can be confusing.

I just don't think about an end-point. I remember the people who struggled through 6 years of WW2 and, like them, hope one day it ends. As you found, frustrated expectations are stressful - so if this goes on another 4 years, I have to accept it. I will just think about those women waving their loved ones goodbye on the troop ships, with many never returning, and count my blessings.-

So how should I cope with the lock down this time. The last time I mistakenly focused on the expected announced end date, which kept extending. Frustrating and stressful. I think I will just take it day by day. If I wake up in the morning above ground, it is a good day. Next day too. I am fortunate to have a wife and also a driver to go to town. Gym closed so nothing I can do about it, maybe more aches and pains pains. Still, beats covid.

I will re-raise.
My stat for case fatality rate was not from UCD, it was from the World Covid Monitor website, and it was the rate for the Philippines, not the worldwide average. You fold?-

John Hopkins U has reported over several months; 99.4 to 99.6 range. So, I call your UC Davis and raise you a John Hopkins U. Call, fold, or re-raise.

Even worse - the barn doors remained closed for about a year and then they opened them. :(-

Who didn't see that coming? Too little, too late, of the wrong thing.
